Blackbird Car Hire offers you a 24/7 ‘Meet & Greet’ service, where we will meet up with you at the beginning and end of your hire period (regardless of how many days) anywhere within Cornwall - between 0600 & midnight, 7 days a week, FREE OF CHARGE

ONE DAY / SAME DAY HIRE

If you’re coming to Cornwall just for the day, on either business or pleasure, our ‘Meet & Greet’ service is unbeatable! We’ll be there with your car when you arrive (whether by train, boat or plane, or to your home if you live, or are staying, in Cornwall). At the end of your day, we’ll be there to collect your car, even if you are departing from somewhere else!

So a 1-day hire with our FREE ‘Meet & Greet’ service is the perfect solution for the travelling businessman, or if you’re visiting relatives & friends, or simply to just get away from it all for a day! No waiting for buses, hiring taxis or depending on lifts - your own car for the day, your complete independence!

We can meet you between midnight and 0600, and/or outside of Cornwall if desired, although a fee may be required. This must be agreed and paid for beforehand

Whether you are arriving (or departing) by road, rail, air or sea, we can be there to deliver or collect your hire car

By Road, Cornwall has a considerable number of campsites, including Bude, Bodmin, Callywith, Falmouth, Land’s End, Lizard, Looe, Newquay, Plymouth, and St. Ives, amongst many others

By rail, Bodmin Parkway is probably Cornwall’s most central mainline railway station which also boasts a local steam train service that runs to a limited timetable between Bodmin Parkway and Bodmin General (in the heart of the town). Other mainline stations include Saltash, St. Germans, Menheniot, Liskeard, (Bodmin Parkway), Lostwithiel, Par, St Austell, Truro, Redruth and Penzance . Any branch line stations are also included in our meet and greet service

By air, Newquay Airport is the main airport, as well as for those coming in their own aircraft, to Bodmin Airfield or any of the private airfields.

By sea, Plymouth is home to the main ferry terminal although there are a number of other smaller ports, harbours and marinas around the coastline
